Southwestern Electrical was founded in 1974. Over the years the company has been family owned and operated. We hold New Mexico EE-98, GB-98 and EL-01 licenses, all of which are held within the company, requiring no outside qualifying parties. Our employees hold licenses in both general electrical as well as high voltage applications, certifications in fiber optic testing, fire alarm and medium voltage testing/termination.

We maintain a fleet of service vehicles, excavation equipment, power-line construction equipment and electrical/communications/fiber optic/medium voltage test equipment.

We have completed many projects to include Military, Government, Casinos, Airfield lighting, Waste- Water Systems, Water systems, Generator, UPS, Lightning Systems, Communications, Fiber-optic, Control/Automation, Grounding Systems, Fire Alarm, Security, Medium Voltage powerline/underground systems and Sub-Station construction.

We have design-build capabilities and in house CADD services.
